Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is hiring a CDL A driver in Jacksonville, FL. Local deliveries with home every night, require a clean MVR and DOT medical.

You will pick up aggregate materials and safely unload using end dump trailers, while maintaining records and ensuring safety. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, CDL A with at least 2 years of experience, strong communication skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to DOT annual physicals.

Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer
• Transport block, mortar, and other building materials to customers as needed
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Assist and supervise loading of truck for proper order and weight distribution
• Receive and follow invoices, directions, and special instructions from dispatcher
• Maintain records such as daily truck logs and fuel tickets per regulations
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues
• Provide routine maintenance for truck and loading equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the pickup and offloading of aggregate raw materials using a Dry Bulk trailer. In some instances, the drivers may be required to work in the End Dump department. Current CDL A license and clean MVR are required. Local deliveries and home every night. Job Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer
• Transport block, mortar, and all other building materials to customer in a safe manner as needed
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
• Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
• Maintain complete and accurate records such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation, and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
• Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• CDL A license required
• Must have at least 2 years of current CDL experience
