Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate current.
• Ability to pass Federal DOT drug screen and physical.
• Must maintain driving record meeting regulatory requirements.
• Pneumatic tanker, dry bulk, cement, fly ash hauling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Ability to operate pneumatic unloading equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Safely transports bulk cement from plant to delivery locations.
• Loads and unloads bulk cement using pneumatic tanker equipment.
• Verifies load information, delivery tickets, and customer requirements before departure.
• Inspects hoses, valves, blowers, air systems, and tanker equipment.
• Communicates with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers on schedules and delays.
• Operates equipment in a safe and compliant manner with DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Completes delivery documentation and electronic logs accurately and timely.
• Monitors vehicle and equipment condition; reports maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness of the tractor, trailer, and work area.
• Safely climbs ladders and follows fall protection procedures.
• Assists with inventory management as required.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
