Job summary

Bpiteam is seeking a Warehouse Associate / CDL A Backup Driver in Nashville to support daily warehouse operations and serve as a backup driver. You will handle inbound/outbound processes, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure DOT compliance.

The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat, a strong safety record, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Five years of professional driving experience.
• Two years of warehouse experience, including forklift operation.
• Clear MVR and strong safety record.
• Experience using RF scanning systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
• Physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Basic computer skills; AS400 experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders.
• Receive inbound materials and place products into assigned bin locations.
• Perform breakdown, put-away, replenishment, quality control, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory support functions.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
• Monitor and maintain SKUs and locations in the WMS to ensure efficient warehouse processing and optimal space utilization.
• Assist walk-in customers professionally and courteously.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate company commercial vehicles which require a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• Transport goods efficiently while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely DOT logs and required delivery documentation.
