Job summary

Smith Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A or CDL-B tanker drivers with steady schedules and strong pay. The role offers 7-Axle tanker division work, home time options, and predictable weekly earnings.

Starting pay is $26/hour plus overtime, with annual earnings of $104,000+. Raises occur at 6, 9, and 12 months; weekly hours run 60–65 on average. Orientation and lodging arrangements are provided for out-of-area drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Minimum 6+ months experience.
• Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Any candidate who has violated the Department of Transportation’s drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.
