Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to pump septic tanks and dispose of non-hazardous waste. You will drive a company service truck, operate vacuum equipment, and ensure safety and excellent customer service on every residential and commercial job.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL is required.
• Tanker Endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to drive manual transmission with no restrictions.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test required.
• Willingness to work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify hazards and report defective components; recommend service options.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
• Work independently in the field representing Wind River Environmental.
