Job summary

Doug Smith CDJR Spanish Fork is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to service Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles in Spanish Fork, UT. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles following factory specifications and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and good communication to work with service advisors. ASE certification is preferred, own tools beneficial, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks.
• Self-motivated to be a productive technician.
• General mechanical skills and must have own tools.
• Safety and Emissions certification preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles following manufacturer specifications.
• Identify mechanical and electrical vehicle issues and effectively troubleshoot to resolve them.
• Complete repair orders accurately and timely, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
• Stay current with automotive technology advancements and training related to the CDJR product line.
• Understand all Factory Warranties and Policy and Procedures
