Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor to lead our CDI team on a full‑time day shift. This role partners with providers to ensure documentation accurately reflects diagnoses, treatments, and care decisions while guiding a skilled CDI program.

The supervisor provides education, tracks compliance, and drives process improvements across the service area, without direct patient care duties, aligning with Baptist Health standards and core values.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience working in an acute care setting (Required)
• 1–2 years of Clinical Documentation experience. (Required)
• Minimum of 4 years of acute care nursing experience. (Required)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to improve the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation.
• Provide leadership and support for Clinical Documentation Integrity practices, processes, and initiatives across the assigned service area.
• Provide ongoing CDI education to new staff, providers, and healthcare team members, including education related to new initiatives and identified knowledge gaps.
• Monitor, track, and trend CDI program compliance to identify opportunities for improvement and targeted education.
• Utilize clinical expertise, CDI practices, and facility‑specific tools to promote documentation accuracy, compliance, and best practices.
• Support the development and implementation of CDI education and process improvement initiatives in alignment with Baptist Health standards, goals, and Core Values.
• Serve as a resource for CDI‑related questions and support ongoing professional development and competency within the team.
