Job description

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is currently hiring for a full‑time Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager in the Finance Revenue Cycle Department at Baptist Metro Square.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures to support CDI workflow and guidelines
• Recruits, hires and develops clinical documentation specialists to establish, maintain and keep current and effective training program for coding and clinical documentation
• Meets budget requirements and participates in budget preparation
• Provides education to physician, physician offices as needed to support hospital operations ensuring accurate and complete medical record
• Works with Medical Staff as needed
• Educates clinical documentation specialists on issues related to the government mandated Inpatient Perspective Payment Program (MS-DRGs) and works collaboratively with the coding Supervisors

Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor of Science (non Nursing) Required

• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) - ACDIS Preferred
• Certified Documentation Improvement Professional (CDIP) - AHIMA Preferred
