CDI Software Engineer
Location: Remote in the United States
US Citizenship Required


Summary:
The Cyber Defense Platform Data & Integration engineering (CDI) team is currently addressing scalability and optimization challenges as well as adding new product features as fast as the cybersecurity landscape evolves. This work requires self-starting software developers that can handle the projected growth and new requirements. Our product roadmap requires the engineering team to work closely with product management and other engineers to rapidly implement solutions that increase product scalability and analytic accuracy for our clients.


General responsibilities:

  1. Participate in all stages of an agile software development lifecycle, including product ideation, requirements gathering, architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support.
  2. Refine our methodology based on industry best practices with continuous feedback against well-defined metrics.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and MSS best practices.
  4. Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and help implement strategies and solutions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
  5. Work with peers to ensure the end-to-end solutions work seamlessly for our clients.

  11. Possess a strong interest or background in cyber security.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 5 years of experience developing, testing, and implementing large-scale, complex cloud system architectures.
  2. Hands-on experience supporting/developing cloud enterprise technology in AWS, Azure, or the GCP cloud environment (we are multi-cloud).
  3. Strong hands-on programming skills, with expertise in multiple languages/frameworks including Python, Javascript, TypeScript (Vue.js, Node.js, or other SPA frameworks), Golang, SQL.
  4. Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Agile tools such as JIRA.
  5. Experience with Continuous Delivery pipelines and the tools used to deliver solutions (GIT, GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  6. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud environments.
  7. Knowledge with API integration across applications, networks, and cloud environments.
  8. Experience with cloud storage and database skills in Postgres, DynamoDB, etc.
  9. Experience in building automation solutions and solving big data problems.
  10. Previous cyber security experience is not required, but a plus.
  11. Demonstrate CI/CD Best practices.
  12. BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience.
