Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery/CDH team. The role provides coordination and direct patient care for congenital diaphragmatic hernia patients, with inpatient duties and collaboration with neonatology and maternal-fetal medicine.

You will participate in ICU rounds, lead weekly multidisciplinary CDH rounds, develop educational initiatives, and support outpatient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or PA program required.
• 1 year hospital acute care experience required; NICU/ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Current pediatric NP or family NP certification; MA licensure as APRN or PA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inpatient care for CDH patients and communicate plans to families.
• Perform daily patient assessments, review data, and assist in procedures as needed.
• Lead or participate in daily ICU rounds and inpatient surgical rounds.
• Coordinate pre-hospitalization care with neonatology and maternal-fetal medicine teams.
• Establish weekly multidisciplinary CDH rounds and educational initiatives for staff.
• Support outpatient care, including clinic visits and care coordination as needed.
