Qualifications

• Active Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification in Ohio is mandatory.
• Experience in substance abuse counseling or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of addiction treatment principles and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client screenings and gather information to determine individualized treatment needs.
• Provide appropriate referrals to additional support services and coordinate with external agencies.
• Develop and implement discharge plans and coordinate with the treatment team for smooth transitions.
• Facilitate group education sessions on substance abuse and impaired driving topics.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and provide ongoing support throughout the program.
