What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development and coordination of various large, complex CDBG-DR funded programs
- Serve as the primary liaison with state/local client agencies and senior officials
- Oversee program activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and scope management
- Deliver high-profile public presentations and manage stakeholder meetings
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of project management experience with federally funded projects
- 5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of CDBG/CDBG-DR programs and regulations
- Experience in disaster recovery at the grantee level or with a consulting firm

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with FEMA and other disaster recovery funding mechanisms
- Business capture and development experience
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with state and local government recovery initiatives post-disaster
