Job summary

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) on the Mesa campus is seeking an exempt CCU Director, Assistant Professor, General Dentist to lead clinical education and patient care in a dynamic academic setting.

The role combines leadership, teaching predoctoral dental students across clinical, preclinical, and classroom settings, and collaboration with faculty and staff to support quality patient care, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program.
• Arizona dental licensure eligibility required.
• 5+ years clinical dentistry experience preferred; experience in clinical education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive, patient-centered care and clinical operations within the CCU.
• Provide direct clinical supervision, instruction, assessment, and mentorship to predoctoral students.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback and guidance.
• Lead CCU operations including faculty/staff supervision and patient flow; documentation in EHR.
• Participate in committees, governance, accreditation activities, and scholarly work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
