Job summary

Brown Equipment Company in Evansville, IN, is seeking a CCTV Technician to diagnose and repair camera systems in municipal and utility vehicle fleets. You’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and restore equipment, and work hands-on with electronics and wiring.

You’ll read manuals and schematics, order parts, document service actions, and support customers and internal teams to keep systems running smoothly. A strong mechanical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience working with electronics or camera equipment.
• Experience with municipal or utility vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of camera system hardware/software integration preferred.
• Familiarity with sewer or pipeline inspection equipment is helpful.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Brown Equipment Company is looking for a CCTV Technician to help keep the specialized camera systems used by municipalities and utility companies running at peak performance. These systems are mounted in highly specialized trucks used to inspect underground infrastructure — and when something isn’t working right, our team steps in to diagnose, repair, and get our customers back up and running.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and working with advanced equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect and diagnose camera systems using manufacturer guidelines
