Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC delivers cutting edge trenchless technologies and turnkey services to modernize water infrastructure. This position is a full-time field role requiring hands-on operation of CCTV equipment and involvement in CIPP projects.

Candidates should have Tap Cutter/TV Tech experience, solid knowledge of rehab procedures, and a valid driver’s license with DOT readiness. CDL is strongly preferred and PACP/MACP/LACP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Tap Cutter or TV Tech in the CIPP industry.
• Solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical; CDL preferred.
• PACP/MACP/LACP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize remote cameras and CCTV equipment to videotape inside sewer lines for inspections.
• Determine whether cleaning and/or repairs are needed.
• Reinstatement of service laterals after rehabilitation (cutting taps) when needed.
• Service, adjust, and perform minor repairs to cameras and equipment as needed/directed.
• Assists in CIPP liner installations as needed.
• Set up CIPP equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
