Job summary

The City of McKinney is seeking an Inspector (CCTV) I/II/III to inspect sewer and stormwater systems using CCTV and GIS mapping. Under general supervision, operate camera equipment, assist with maintenance, and coordinate with customers and field crews.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, and a Wastewater Collections I license. The role requires safety training and the ability to work in confined spaces and in a team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; CCTV equipment experience preferred.
• Must hold a Texas Class A CDL and tankers endorsement within 12 months.
• Must have Wastewater Collections I license.
• Confined space entry training completed.
• Work Zone Traffic Control/Qualified Flagger certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic manhole inspection equipment.
• Tracks equipment and materials; completes paperwork.
• Speaks with customers and makes competent decisions.
• Manages service requests and inspections in Cityworks.
• Sets up cones, barricades and traffic control; performs traffic control as needed.
