Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is hiring CCTV Operators to perform camera inspections, jetting, cleaning, and manhole location work around waterlines, sewers, and industrial facilities. Travel is required and the role is full-time with varying shifts including potential weekends.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in water/sewer CCTV, high-pressure cleaning equipment knowledge, and familiarity with safety protocols. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• General knowledge of the operation of closed video camera equipment and high pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• PACP/MACP/LACP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans and specifications.
• Proficient with lasers, line and grade.
• Strong customer service and communication skills along with mechanical aptitude are required.
• General knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote cameras that use CCTV to record interiors of pipelines for inspections and determine cleaning needs and lining candidates.
• Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs.
• Locate manholes from a map.
• Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Support sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation tasks.
• Repair pipelines using specified products and processes.
• Perform difficult skilled work supervising and participating in jetting of sewer lines and manholes/vactoring.
• Set up/take down traffic control in the street.
• Store footage.
