Job summary

Hydromax USA in Houston, TX is seeking a Crew Lead Trainee - Crossbore Technician to assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CCTV cameras and related equipment. This hands-on role offers valuable experience in technology and community safety initiatives, with opportunities to learn from experienced technicians and leadership.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to travel up to 80% of the time, pass a background check and drug screen, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to travel 2–3 weeks at a time and up to 80% of the time.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and walking on uneven terrain.
• English literacy and communication skills.
• Confined Space Training certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Detect cross bored wastewater lines and collect field data using ESRI GPS software during inspections.
• Establish a safe work zone with traffic cones and signs.
• Prepare the CCTV Robot and equipment, ensure cleaning and maintenance.
• Dispatch the tractor unit into the pipe using a crane or hook.
• Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.
