Responsibilities

• Operate robotic camera tractors and push systems to inspect sewer and storm lines, capturing video and documenting conditions.
• Drive, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on the CCTV truck and equipment.
• Interpret maps/blueprints to locate access points and plan inspection routes.
• Collect and manage inspection data on tablets, labeling and archiving footage.

Duke's is looking for a CCTV Camera Truck Operator to join our Asheboro, NC-based crew! At Duke's, we use advanced technology and experienced field crews to protect and maintain essential infrastructure. Our CCTV Camera Truck Operators lead closed-circuit video inspections of sewer and storm lines using robotic camera systems. We rely on this role to identify potential issues before they elevate, ensuring clean, safe, and efficient utility systems for the clients and communities we serve. If you're mechanically inclined, like to travel, and thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment, we're ready to put your skills to work!

This position will require travel in and out of state based on project location. Business travel expenses are paid including lodging, transportation, and daily meal per diem!

Requirements

• Abide by all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE for your safety.
• Operate and navigate robotic camera tractors and push systems to perform detailed inspections of sewer and storm lines, capturing high-quality digital footage and accurately documenting pipe conditions and defects.
• Drive, inspect, and maintain the CCTV truck and all related equipment, performing pre-and post-shift checks, troubleshooting issues, and completing minor field repairs to ensure safe and continuous operation.
• Interpret maps, blueprints, and project documents to locate access points and confirm inspection routes, working closely with field technicians to safely expose entry points and guide equipment through pipelines.
• Collect and manage inspection data using tablets and mobile systems, label and archive footage, and maintain detailed digital records in alignment with job specifications and reporting standards.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to coordinate field operations, support special projects, and adapt to evolving site conditions as needed.
