Job summary

AMR is seeking a CCT Nurse to deliver high-quality care during inter-facility transport. The role requires extensive ICU/ED experience and current RN licensure.

This full-time position offers a $5K sign-on bonus and an hourly wage range of $38.11–$56.57, with immediate start in Central, AZ. Responsibilities include leading crews, ensuring safety, and complying with CCT procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience or 5 years in ED/CCT/Trauma RN (non-negotiable).
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C provider status.
• PHTLS and NRP Provider Certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• ICS courses per FEMA IS-100B and IS-700A are expected.
• CCT inter-facility transfer experience; certifications such as CEN/CCRN/TNCC/ENC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and apply critical care expertise to determine best actions for patient care during inter-facility transport.
• Provide care within RN scope of practice as defined by BRN and CCT procedures.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients per physician orders.
• Lead the team and maintain a safe, clean, stocked environment and equipment checks.

We’re hiring a Critical Care Transport (CCT) Nurse who is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic as well as advanced patient care during inter-facility transportation of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Nurses assess and use expertise in each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Provide care requirements aligned within the Registered Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Board of Registered Nursing and per CCT standardized procedure.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Act as team leader and take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and maintain regular equipment checks and stock.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow crew.
• Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
• PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• ICS courses, refer to FEMA -IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
• Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
