Job summary

Premier Ambulance seeks an experienced Critical Care Transport Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity care and advanced monitoring during interfacility transports. The CCT RN will manage ventilators, IV therapies, and life-support in collaboration with EMTs and hospital staff.

Applicants should have two years of critical care experience, an active RN license in the state, and BLS/ACLS certifications. NIH Stroke Scale training within 90 days is required or preferred depending on role.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Two years of critical care experience in ER/ICU within the last 24 months.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCR N/ CEN or other relevant specialty certification preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care during interfacility and specialty transports.
• Monitor advanced medical equipment and life-support therapies.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, EMTs, and hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate patient care documentation and transport records.
• Mentor EMTs and ensure transport readiness.
