Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) has an immediate opening for a full-time 3rd shift Security Officer. Shift hours are 10 pm - 6 am, Tuesday through Saturday.
The officer regulates entry, patrols the grounds, investigates incidents, and prepares reports while ensuring access control and protection of classified information. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of related security experience.
The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) has an immediate opening for a Full-time 3rd shift Security Officer supporting a mission-driven organization focused on national security research and analysis. Shift hours are 10 pm - 6 am, Tuesday - Saturday. The Security Officer regulates and controls personnel movement into the building, patrols the building grounds, investigates unusual events and submits reports. As a key member of the Security team, this role supports access control, facility security, emergency response, and the protection of classified information. Due to the nature of the work and the need for occasional extended coverage, this position requires flexibility in working overtime or outside of the regularly scheduled shift, as authorized by the Security Manager or ACSSO.

While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $42,291-67,666. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.
