Job summary

Endurance Lift Solutions seeks a field technician to spool and band capillary tubing on artificial lift systems at oil and gas job sites. The role requires daily field travel, on-call availability, and adherence to DOT regulations. You will inspect trucks, complete logs, and assist with workover rig operations as needed.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to read instructions, write simple correspondence, and operate basic hand tools with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Spool and band capillary tubing during well work under supervision.
• Be on call 24/7 as needed.
• Travel daily to field locations in company vehicle.
• Maintain capillary service truck and trailer and perform DOT inspections.
• Complete DOT logs and related office records.
• Record daily timesheets and report work performed.
• Conduct field testing on capillary strings and provide status recommendations.
• Adjust to changing job assignments and overtime when required.
• Support workover rig operations on site as needed.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Under general supervision is responsible for spooling and banding capillary tubing utilized on artificial lift systems in a coordinated effort and procedure with customer representatives on installs or pulls on oil and gas job sites.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ability to be on call 24/7
• Ability to travel to the field location daily in company work truck
• Spools cable onto capillary spool as the tubing is being pulled out of the well
• Bands capillary tubing onto tubing as the downhole equipment and tubing are being run into the well
• Maintains capillary service truck and trailer, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Proper completion of DOT logbooks, DOT inspection forms, and turn in for office records
• Completes daily timesheet
• Conducts field analysis and tests capillary strings after they have come out of the well
• The ability to collect information during testing and inspection to provide customers with recommendations on capillary tubing status.
• Quickly adjusts to changing job assignments/requirements and the flexibility to work overtime with little or no advance notice
• Assist with workover rig operations on location as required

• Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals

• Complete, and actively participate in all the company's EHS training requirements
• Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policy

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year workover, capillary, or ESP experience is preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence as required
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Basic hand tool proficiency
• Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• A combination of the above qualifications will also be considered

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.

Work Environment

Work environment is typically on a customer rig site during normal or extended business hours in all weather conditions.
