Job summary

Endurance Lift Solutions is seeking a field technician to support spooling and banding capillary tubing on artificial lift systems in oil and gas projects in Williston, VT. The role requires being on call 24/7 and daily travel to field locations in a company truck.

Responsibilities include spooling cable, banding tubing, maintaining service trucks, completing DOT logs, and assisting with workover rig operations as needed. Safety training and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Spools cable onto capillary spool as tubing is pulled out of the well.
• Bangs capillary tubing onto tubing as downhole equipment is run into the well.
• Maintain capillary service truck and trailer; perform daily DOT inspections.
• Complete daily timesheet and DOT logbooks; ensure records are filed.
• Assist with field operations and workover rig activities as required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Under general supervision is responsible for spooling and banding capillary tubing utilized on artificial lift systems in a coordinated effort and procedure with customer representatives on installs or pulls on oil and gas job sites.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ability to be on call 24/7
• Ability to travel to the field location daily in company work truck
• Spools cable onto capillary spool as the tubing is being pulled out of the well
• Bands capillary tubing onto tubing as the downhole equipment and tubing are being run into the well
• Maintains capillary service truck and trailer, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Proper completion of DOT logbooks, DOT inspection forms, and turn in for office records
• Completes daily timesheet
• Conducts field analysis and tests capillary strings after they have come out of the well
• The ability to collect information during testing and inspection to provide customers with recommendations on capillary tubing status.
• Quickly adjusts to changing job assignments/requirements and the flexibility to work overtime with little or no advance notice
• Assist with workover rig operations on location as required

EHS REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals
• Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals
• Complete, and actively participate in all the company's EHS training requirements
• Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policy

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year workover, capillary, or ESP experience is preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence as required
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Basic hand tool proficiency
• Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• A combination of the above qualifications will also be considered

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work environment is typically on a customer rig site during normal or extended business hours in all weather conditions.
