Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services seeks a compassionate CCS Clinician to provide urgent behavioral health care within the CBHC network. You will perform diagnostic evaluations, crisis planning, stabilization, and short-term treatment for individuals and families in need, across office, virtual, home, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Independent licensure preferred as clinician.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness and/or substance use.
• Strong diagnostic skills with crisis intervention experience.
• Ability to establish rapport with diverse clients quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent behavioral health care through diagnostic evaluations, crisis planning, stabilization, and short-term treatment for individuals and families experiencing acute needs.
• Provide flexible, community-based care in office settings, virtually, at home, or in the community based on clinical direction and client preference.
• Offer direct, solution-focused clinical support including skills training, behavior modeling, and crisis resolution to help stabilize clients until ongoing services are in place.
• Assess safety and service needs including determining appropriate levels of care and develop stabilization-focused treatment plans.
• Collaborate across care systems supporting hospital admissions and discharges, maintaining communication with the triage team, and participating in ongoing clinical trainings and assessments.

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Fee For Service - CCS Clinician to provide high-quality care and support to clients in need. The Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program is a vital component of Eliot's innovative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), which serves as a centralized access point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent behavioral health care through diagnostic evaluations, crisis planning, stabilization interventions, and short-term treatment for individuals and families experiencing acute needs
• Provide flexible, community-based care in office settings, virtually, at home, or in the community based on clinical direction and client preference
• Offer direct, solution-focused clinical support including skills training, behavior modeling, and crisis resolution to help stabilize clients until ongoing services are in place
• Assess safety and service needs including determining appropriate levels of care such as community services or hospitalization and develop stabilization-focused treatment plans
• Collaborate across care systems supporting hospital admissions and discharges, maintaining communication with the triage team, and participating in ongoing clinical trainings and assessments

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Independent Clinical licensure, preferred
• Experience working with adults with mental illness/substance abuse
• Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies.
• Must be able to quickly establish rapport with individuals with a wide range of clinical presentations.

Schedule: Fee-for-Service / Varies

Eliot's CCS programs are located in Danvers, MA, and Lynn, MA. Candidates must be flexible and willing to pick up shifts at either location based on program needs and availability.

Hourly Rate: $40 - $40 USD
