Signal Centers seeks a Site Coordinator to supervise CCR&R Quality Coaches and administrative staff, plan staff development, and coordinate service delivery with DHS and partners. The role focuses on leadership, training, and ensuring quality programs for early childhood education in the region.

Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s Degree, 5+ years of managerial experience, and 10+ years in early childhood education, with strong collaboration and budgeting capabilities.

This position plays a key role in supporting child care providers, families, and the community by ensuring the effective delivery of services and resources related to early childhood education and care. The Regional Center Coordinator works closely with other CCR&R staff, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance the quality and availability of child care services within the region.

The Site Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
  • Participate in training to upgrade skills
  • Participate in and attend meetings and conference calls
  • Prioritize requests from Management
  • Keep management aware of trends and issues in service delivery area
  • Take an active role with the Chattanooga Association on Young Children
  • Positively represents the CCR&R Network and Signal Centers to the community
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Supervision:
  • Manage and supervise the work of CCR&R Quality Coaches and Administrative Staff. Coordinate other support staff within service delivery area as defined by Network Management in conjunction with DHS
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning and directing work, evaluating performance and addressing complaints/issues and resolving problems
  • Provide guidance to staff in keeping with the program mission, goals and agency’s core values
  • Provides management, leadership and coaching to all CCR&R program staff, ensuring they are well-equipped and well-trained to deliver services to providers
  • Monitor and verify work prepared by staff for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
  • Assist staff with analyzing/resolving issues with programs in their caseload
  • Plan and facilitate scheduled staff meetings and staff development sessions
  • Provide individual counseling and guidance to staff in meeting their goals and address programs in their caseload or office issues
  • Prepare performance evaluations and maintain records of employee issues and performance
  • Facilitates/trains on curriculum content to CCR&R Staff
Program Coordination and Outreach:
  • Plan, collaborate and coordinate quarterly meetings with TDHS Partners to promote consistent services to child care agencies and families
  • Maintain positive relationships with TDHS – particularly Child Care Licensing to ensure consistency and cooperation
  • Participate in community collaborative efforts, coalitions, and other relevant meetings as directed by management, providing leadership as necessary
Program Monitoring/Reporting:
  • Works with Network Management to meet goals related to performance-based outcome standards for local CCR&R
  • Provides oversight and management for the data processes of the center
  • Analyze records and data to monitor goal attainment and program progress
  • Review program services and outreach services to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency
Qualifications Include:

Must have Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Education, Early Childhood Education, or closely related field. O ver five years management experience in this or related field required. Over ten years of early childhood/education experience. Physical examination and record of negative TB test results must be on file with Signal Centers, Inc. Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance required.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within the community with partners and funders to deliver on our scopes of services.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership on a regional level in the area(s) of early childhood education, leadership, child care resource and referral, early care and education best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and staff.
  • Proven ability to offer technical assistance to local child care administrators in the area of program development and management.
  • Must be skilled at conducting training and workshops and can work with individuals as well as groups.
