Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle seeks a senior technical leader to own the strategy and roadmap for the CCR platform, spanning Oracle Cloud GL, FCCS, TRCS, and BlackLine. You will drive end-to-end close enhancements, automate reconciliations, and ensure data lineage across ERP integrations.

You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, and IT leaders to translate complex finance requirements into scalable solutions, lead a blended team, and advance control maturity in a fast-paced, global finance environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field with 10+ years of experience; or Master's with 7+ years of experience.
Hands-on experience across CCR platform portfolio, including Oracle Cloud ERP GL, FCCS, TRCS, BlackLine, and EPCM.
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles, financial close and consolidation processes, SOX controls, audit requirements, and enterprise finance operations.
3+ years of experience leading engineering or functional teams, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy, architecture, and roadmap across the CCR platform portfolio to ensure scalable, secure, auditable solutions.
Lead delivery of enhancements and improvements supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, including automation of reconciliation and journal entry workflows.
Lead data integration pipelines connecting CCR platforms with upstream subledgers, ERP systems, and the Polaris data framework; ensure data lineage and auditability.
Ensure all solutions meet SOX controls, ITGCs, audit requirements, and enterprise change management standards; remediate control gaps.
Establish and promote best practices for development, testing, release management, and performance optimization; foster a low-intervention operating model.
Partner with Accounting, Tax Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Treasury, Audit, and Finance Technology leadership to translate complex requirements into platform solutions.
Lead and grow a blended team of Oracle Application Engineers, Data Engineers, and Functional Analysts with a culture of accountability and growth.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual close touchpoints and expand Oracle Cloud and AI capabilities across the platform.
