Cornerstone, an affiliate of The Pennant Group, is launching the CCO‑in‑Training Program in California. This 12‑week, full‑time paid executive training places you in on‑site roles to build and manage clinical services and teams in home health, hospice, or home care environments.

Graduates may advance to lead one of our agencies with mentorship and operational support, developing staffing, engagement, and community growth while aligning with CAPLICO values.

Qualifications

• Current, active license to practice in the state of services (RN/SLP/OT/SW).
• Minimum of one year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.
• Current CPR certification and ongoing licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage in immersive, on-the-job training across clinical, operational and administrative management functions.
• Shadow department heads and front-line staff to understand agency operations and clinical controls.
• Lead real-time projects and contribute to meaningful improvements within your host agency.
• Prepare for a Director-level role by mastering staffing, team engagement, and community growth.
• Study state regulations and best practices in home healthcare operations.
• Align leadership skills with CAPLICO values and mission.
