Job summary

Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center seeks a CCICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a busy ICU, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Required: ADN diploma or foreign equivalent, 1 year RN acute care experience, current AZ RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire; BSN and ICU experience preferred.

We offer an Education Benefit program up to $18,000 over five years for full-time employees,

Qualifications

• 1 year RN acute care experience
• ADN Diploma or foreign equivalent
• Current AZ State RN License in good standing
• Current BLS healthcare provider card
• ACLS card must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings; performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.
