Job summary

Entergy in Texas-Orange is seeking a Production Technician to operate and maintain a CCGT facility, strictly following procedures to improve performance and safety. The role emphasizes instrumentation, controls, data acquisition, and routine PM/PDM tasks.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, safety briefings, and contractor safety orientations. A 2‑year associate degree or equivalent experience is required, with 12‑hour shifts, up to 25% travel, overtime and on‑call duties are common.

Qualifications

• Strong communication of findings to supervision.
• Ability to read P&ID, electrical schematics, and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and be proactive in dealing with agencies and avoid reportable violations.
• Participate in the multi-skill progression plan to develop maintenance and operations skills.
• Conduct safety briefings and contractor safety orientations as needed.
• Operate control board, perform rounds, and carry out PM/PDM activities.
• Inspect, calibrate, install and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment in a CCGT facility.
