Job summary

The Kyrene School District is seeking a Resource Assistant CCD Instructional Assistant to support students with special needs. You will assist classroom instruction, help implement behavior plans, and participate in data collection to monitor progress.

This position supports 30 hours per week and follows the 194–day school calendar. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with fingerprint clearance and willingness to participate in training.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1 year experience with students with special needs.
• Experience supervising children preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality of student, school, teacher, and parent information.
• Must obtain IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Willingness to participate in training sessions.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and one year experience working either in a school or working with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Experience supervising children preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information confidential.
• Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed.
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
