Job summary

Kyrene School District seeks a Resource Assistant/Instructional Assistant to provide classroom support for students with special needs, implement behavior plans, and participate in data collection to measure progress. This role supports teachers and collaborates with teams to tailor interventions and improve student outcomes.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience with children in school or special needs settings, plus an IVP Level One Fingerprint

Qualifications

• IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student, school, teacher and parent information.

Job Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and one year experience working either in a school or working with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Experience supervising children preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information confidential. Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Employment Information: 26/27 school year; 30 hours per week; 194 days per school year

Salary: Band - Support A12 - $18.11/hour entry level; plus 0.50/hour self contained stipend
