Job summary

Mountain View Hospital seeks a versatile MA/CMA/LPN to join our clinic team. You will assist physicians with patient care and clerical duties, draw blood, and provide injections while maintaining front desk operations and patient scheduling.

CLIA waived tests may be performed as part of routine lab work. The ideal candidate has 6 months of medical experience and relevant certifications, with Idaho licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months medical experience; 2–5 years clinical preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods, listen, read, and remember instructions; respond well to supervision and feedback.
• Ability to work well with others and manage conflicts with patients and staff.
• Fulfilling Idaho licensure and certification requirements within 60 days of hire.

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a MA/CMA/LPN to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, and clinical duties.
• Convey a positive image of the clinic.
• Collect, process routine tests, and return results to the doctor, including CLIA waived moderate testing.
• Provide customer service on the phone to patients, doctors, and other medical staff.
• Perform patient referrals, pull charts, file records, clean and wrap instruments, stock rooms, reconcile labs, room patients, and take vitals and history.
• Manage front desk functions: check patients in and out, collect pertinent information, process payments, scan and discharge patients, answer phones, post charges, perform some coding and billing, and handle medical records.
• Draw blood and provide injections.
• For LPNs: provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting; communicate with providers, nurse manager, and co‑workers regarding changes in patient condition and diagnostic results; respond quickly and accurately; handle inventory and ordering responsibilities; cross‑train in additional clinic areas such as laboratory rapid assays, reception, and radiographic studies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6 months medical experience; 2‑5 years clinical experience preferred.
• Equipment/Technology: Basic computer knowledge.
• Mental Capabilities: Ability to concentrate for long periods, listen, read, and remember instructions; handle supervision input and error correction.
• Interpersonal: Ability to work well with others.
• Performance: Ability to handle conflict issues with patients and staff.
• Education/Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS certificates within 60 days of hire.
• Medical Assistant: Current, unencumbered Idaho Medical Assistant Certificate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: Current, unencumbered LPN Idaho license; IV therapy certification and drug administration certification within 60 days of hire.
• Mathematical Skills: Must calculate drug dosing and drip rates for IV therapy accurately.
