Job summary

Allen County Community Corrections seeks a Programs Facilitator to administer evidence-based cognitive behavioral programs and ensure delivery as designed. You will prepare lesson plans, manage materials, and support participant progress in a structured setting.

The role requires knowledge of CBT and criminal justice processes, plus certification readiness (IRAS, MINT, CBT facilitation). Flexible hours include weekdays, some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field required.
• One year of experience in classroom facilitation and/or teaching preferred.
• Knowledge of CBT and Social Learning theories
• Knowledge of criminal justice system operations
• Strong management, organizational, leadership and teaching skills
• Ability to be certified in IRAS Instrument Training/Application
• Ability to be certified in Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT)
• Ability to be certified in facilitation of CBT curricula
• Familiarity with EBP principles and practices

Responsibilities

• Facilitates evidence-based cognitive behavioral classes and ensures content is delivered as intended.
• Prepares lesson plans, materials, and instructional tools.
• Maintains classroom readiness and inventories materials.
• Conducts weekly program orientations for participants.
• Guides participants toward goals and action planning.
• Completes attendance and paperwork in required systems.
• Prepares and forwards status reports to ACCC and referral sources.
• Observes student progress and reports to case managers.
• Participates in staff meetings to discuss program delivery and improvements.
• Works flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
