Job summary

Precise Systems seeks an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership, technical direction, and financial oversight for DoD contracts in the CBRNE Defense arena. You will oversee staff, manage subcontractors, and ensure contract performance from concept to close-out while maintaining compliance with security requirements.

Collaborate with government and industry partners, present briefing materials to senior executives, and report on schedules and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with DoD contracts and staff management.
• Experience with multiple contract types: FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, and hybrid.
• Must be able to conduct and present briefing materials to Senior Managers and Government Stakeholders.
• Experience with monthly schedule status reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and present briefing materials to Senior Managers and Government Stakeholders
• Manage monthly schedule status reports
• Foster positive partnerships with clients via meetings and weekly communications
• Oversight of staff and associated support (technical and administrative)
• Manage P&L of operation, security requirements, and contracts (concept to close-out)
• Manage internal financial monitoring and execution of contracts
• Manage subcontractor hours and costs, assessing funds, risk mitigation and actions
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the customer across required schedules/reviews
• Conduct personnel performance reviews, mentorship, work allocation strategies and talent development
• Perform contract reviews and reporting to Program, Division, Operations and Group leadership
