Job summary

Gardens of Mount Pleasant LLP seeks a dedicated CBRF Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities, hygiene, meals and emotional well-being within our assisted living setting.

You will assist with mobility, transport, and life enrichment while maintaining safety and dignity. Strong English communication and the required CBRF or CNA credentials are essential. EOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CBRF certification or CNA license.
• Able to communicate effectively in English to all staff.
• Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including toilet, bathing, dressing, laundry, cooking and serving food.
• Provide mobility assistance and wheel chair transport for residents with limited mobility.
• Promote independence, dignity and physical safety for residents.
• Engage residents in life enrichment activities.
• Perform administrative tasks: answering phones, greeting visitors, completing care documents.
• Be reliable with attendance and punctuality.
• Make independent safety-related decisions.
• Be kind and courteous to residents, families, and staff.

Job description

As a CBRF Caregiver you will providesupport and aide to residents including but not limited to; daily ADL's, hygiene, meals, cleaning, activities and social and emotional support based on each resident's specific needs while residents of our assisted living or group home facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Help residents with daily living, including using the toilet/changes, bathing, washing, dressing, laundry, cleaning, cooking, and serving food
• Provide physical assistance to residents who have limited mobility by helping them walk or transporting them in wheelchairs
• Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity and physical safety
• Engage residents in life enrichment activities
• Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to; answering phones, greeting visitors and completing documents of care
• Be reliable and dependable, including but not limited to, attendance and punctuality
• Make decisions independent of supervisors as they relate to residents' safety and health
• Be kind and courteous when interacting with everyone, including residents, family members and all staff

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess CBRF certifications verifiable through the Wisconsin Training Registry including, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking, Medication Administration & Management OR a valid CNA license
• Able to communicate effectively to all staff using verbal and written English language skills
• Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
