Position Summary:


As a General Labor/Packaging for Carl Buddig & Company you will be responsible for producing product by preparing and packaging cooked product for shipment with a safety -minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.



MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Load bulk meat logs (up to 30 pounds) into meat slicer at required production frequency levels.


* Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product.


* Review and inspect product.


* Place pre-determined amount of sliced meat products into packaging.


* Reject meat product that does not meet specifications.


* Place required number of packages into box.


* Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications at a rate of 21 - 40 units per minute.


* Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels.


* Place completed boxes on pallet ensuring proper pallet configuration.


* Place empty pallet into position for proper stocking.


* Always maintain areas in a clean and sanitary manner.


* Inspect equipment for sanitary conditions.


* Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.


* Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
