CBA Aircraft Mechanic II - T45 Program - Patuxent River, MD

Job Function Summary

Maintain T45 aircraft supporting the T&E mission for VX-23 and NAVAIRWARCENACDIV as part of the Retrofit Integration Testing (RIT) Team at NASW Pax River.

Basic Responsibilities
  • Maintain aircraft per Navy, Manufacturer, and Company instructions.
  • Use test and ground support equipment for tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and approved data.
  • Assist with parts, tools, and materials procurement.
  • Document work on Maintenance Action Forms (MAF)/OOMA.
  • Keep work area clean and adhere to FOD prevention rules.
Essential Duties and Qualifications
  • Follow Tool Control Program and safety regulations.
  • Operate special test and ground support equipment correctly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Perform computer input and off-site service if required.
  • Conduct corrosion control cleaning safely.
  • Assist in safeguarding equipment and perform incidental duties as directed.
  • Require minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent military or commercial background.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics, and safety standards.
  • Ability to meet licensing/qualification requirements; FAA A&P License preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
  • Willingness to work weekends, shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.
Physical and Environmental Conditions

Work typically occurs in hangar, shop, or flight line environments, involving physical activities like lifting up to 50 pounds, working in varying weather, and exposure to noise, fumes, or electrical hazards.
