Essential Job Functions:
- Have the authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions, providing guidance and technical expertise throughout aircraft modifications and maintenance efforts.
- Receive technical guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians and lead teams through complex aircraft-related tasks as required.
- Possess knowledge of automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems, and fuel quantity systems.
- Be a technically qualified, experienced individual capable of exercising appropriate responsibility in the H-60 Avionics area.
- Provide technical support to electronic project engineers and utilize organizational skills to prioritize workload to meet daily flight schedules.
- Offer technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians during aircraft modifications and maintenance efforts.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Military VMET or JST must be included with application if prior military experience.
- Experience must be clearly documented with specific dates and locations.
- Minimum of five years of US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 aircraft maintenance support experience.
- At least five years of organizational level avionics/electrical experience on H-60 aircraft, with 24 months within the last 3 years preferred.
- Knowledge of automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems, and fuel quantity systems.
- May need to become Plane Captain certified according to the applicable certification process.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Desirable: Specialized training courses.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Current U.S. Secret clearance required, with ability to maintain it.
- Availability to work any shift; travel may be required.
