CBA Aircraft Mechanic – A&P with Inspection Authorization FBI AMSS, Pt. Mugu, CA

Job Overview

As an Aircraft Technician II, you will perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Your expertise will support a variety of aircraft including Gulfstream G550, Beechcraft King Air, Cessna Caravan 208, and others.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, FBI policies, and manufacturer instructions.
2. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft and related systems.
3. Support maintenance activities such as overhaul, repair, avionics, and specialized mission equipment.
4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; technical training, military experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic, recent within the last 12 months.
• FAA A&P license with Inspection Authorization (IA).
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOJ Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship and valid driver’s license.

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and aircraft maintenance equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hangar or outdoor environments.
