Job summary

JMP Statistical Discovery, LLC is offering a summer internship in the JMP Life Sciences team in Cary, NC. Interns work on causal inference workflows using R, Python, or C++, collaborating with leaders on meaningful analytics projects.

You are pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, CS, or related field and not graduating before December 2027. Hybrid in-person/remote work and access to SAS training are provided.

Qualifications

• Candidate pursuing Master’s or PhD in a life-science-analytic focused major and not graduating before December 2027.
• Strong knowledge of causal inference and potential exposure to individual treatment effects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Program in R/Python/C++ to build new causal inference workflows and methods.
• Explore and benchmark algorithms such as causal discovery and causal ML for JMP.
• Test, document, and promote work through written or video formats.
