Job summary

Washington State Senate Republican Caucus is seeking a qualified candidate for the permanent, full-time Caucus Assistant. The role provides support to the Policy and Communications workgroups, the Chief of Staff, and the SRC at large, with in-person duties during the legislative session in Olympia.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and experience with the Washington State Legislature, plus strong knowledge of legislative processes, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education AND one session of work experience with the Washington State Legislature.
• Knowledge of the legislative process is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to the Policy workgroup, the Communications workgroup, Chief of Staff and the SRC in general.
