Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Feedlot Specialist for an established agricultural operation. This is a hands-on role involved in the daily care, health, feeding, and management of cattle along with equipment operation and general feedlot responsibilities.

The employer seeks a dependable individual comfortable around livestock, who can observe cattle daily, identify health concerns, administer treatments, maintain records, assist with feeding, and help keep the feedlot and equipment in good

Qualifications

• Experience working with and around livestock preferred.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate feedlot and agricultural equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate animal health, feeding, inventory, and operational records.

Responsibilities

• Observe cattle daily and monitor health, condition, behavior, feed and water intake.
• Identify illness, injury, or health concerns and administer treatments.
• Assist with feeding and maintaining feed bunks and schedules.
• Operate equipment such as feed trucks, loaders, tractors, and trailers.
• Maintain accurate treatment histories and daily records.
