Job Description

To provide care, preparation, and positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images utilizing CT studies.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or graduate of approved ARRT Certification program required.
• Completion of a cross-sectional anatomy exam required unless ARRT certified.
• Radiology Technologist certification required; ARRT R and ARRT CT certifications within specified timeframes.
• NYS Certification for IV Contrast Admin within 90 days.
• Must become certified in CT within 3 years of hire/transfer, with first exam within 18 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days from hire or transfer.

Experience

• 1 year of CT experience preferred.
• 1 year of X-ray Tech experience required.
