Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Lexington seeks a passionate Catholic Youth Minister to serve primarily high school youth with components for middle school and young adults, helping them grow in their relationship with God.

The role includes planning programs, retreats, service opportunities, faith formation, and building strong relationships with teens and families, while training volunteers and coordinating with parish staff and clergy to foster a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working with youth in a parish, school, or ministry setting is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, education or social services.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as ministry activities require.
