Patrick Space Force Base Chapel is seeking a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator to plan and administer the parish education program for all ages. You will coordinate classes, sacramental preparation, and seasonal activities while recruiting and training volunteer catechists.

The role requires maintaining records, working with chaplain staff and Archdiocese guidance, and ensuring Catholic doctrine compliance in a military environment. Remote telework is limited but possible as approved.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.
• Must provide current letter of good standing from local priest.
• Approved Catechist with the Archdiocese for the Military Services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage Catholic religious education programs for children, youth, and adults.
• Coordinate weekly classes, sacramental preparation, and special activities.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer catechists and substitutes.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, schedules, and program reports.
• Prepare announcements, calendars, newsletters.
• Coordinate events like Vacation Bible School, Christmas programs, retreats, and volunteer recognition.
