Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) for the Marine Corps Base Quantico Memorial Chapel. The CRE will develop and implement age-appropriate religious education programs, coordinate sacramental preparation and youth activities, and work closely with chapel staff.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma and demonstrate experience in church ministry or religious education. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and the ability to supervise volunteers are essential. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must become certified as a Catechist through the Archdiocese for the Military Services within one year.
• Experience in Roman Catholic religious education or church ministry required.
• Experience supporting military chapel religious education programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the Roman Catholic Religious Education Program.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer catechists.
• Organize sacramental retreats and religious events.

Skills

Knowledge of Roman Catholic theology

Ability to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word

Working knowledge of Excel

Working knowledge of PowerPoint

Working knowledge of SharePoint

Ability to use audio/visual presentation equipment

Education

High school diploma
