Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator to plan and run comprehensive Catholic religious education programs at Joint Base Andrews. You will work closely with the Chaplain-in-Charge to ensure programs meet DoD and AMS requirements in a structured, mission-supportive manner.

You will recruit and mentor volunteer teachers, coordinate with chapel leadership, and deliver regular reports and projections to support program governance. This role is based at JBA Chapel, MD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Catholic religious education programs (RCIA, CCD, VBS, Baptismal Prep, Holy Day events) in alignment with chaplain guidance.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage volunteer teachers and assistants, including maintaining training records and participation tracking.
• Coordinate with chapel leadership, staff, and councils; conduct parent meetings and support youth ministry engagement.
• Prepare and submit required deliverables including weekly activity reports, annual program review, after-action reports (AARs), and quarterly financial projections.
• Develop and submit promotional materials, supply requests, and ministry event proposals (90 days in advance) for chaplain approval.

Position Summary:
The Catholic Religious Education Coordinator (CREC) is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and administration of comprehensive Catholic religious education programs at Joint Base Andrews. Working in direct coordination with the Chaplain-in-Charge, the CREC ensures all programs are delivered in a structured, compliant, and mission-supportive manner aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) and Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) requirements.
