Job summary

Emmaus Catholic Church is seeking staff to support the lead teacher in delivering a nurturing early childhood program within a faith-based setting. You will help provide a warm, safe classroom, incorporate religious content daily, and foster development through guided play and structured activities.

Responsibilities include communicating with families, maintaining a clean environment, and participating in required trainings and church activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing the classroom program.
• Model gospel values and participate in religious ceremonies and training as directed.
• Create a warm, safe and engaging learning environment daily.
• Incorporate religion and music/movement into activities every day.
• Communicate with parents via daily boards, notes or emails and conferences.
• Observe and report behavior to inform development plans.
• Prepare materials, maintain cleanliness, and ensure equipment safety.
• Complete required trainings and adhere to policies and standards.
