Job summary

LOUi Consulting is seeking a Catholic Music Director to support the worship community at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. This role involves providing musical leadership for weekly Masses and rehearsals, collaborating with the priest and community musicians.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of college-level music education and congregational worship leadership experience, with proficiency in piano or guitar. Must be an active practicing Roman Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic liturgical traditions.

Qualifications

• At least two years of congregational worship leadership experience.
• Active practicing Roman Catholic familiar with the Mass.
• Must provide Letter of Good Standing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly music selections with the Catholic Priest/Chaplain.
• Lead and accompany Catholic worship services and rehearsals.
• Support special liturgical events and seasonal observances.

Skills

Proficient in piano and/or guitar

Sight-reading

Leading congregational singing

Knowledge of Catholic liturgical music

Education

Minimum three years of college-level education in music
